International Mother Language Day Beautification ( Alpona )

International Mother Language Day has been a worldwide annual observance and every year celebrated on 21st February since year 2000 after the proclamation by UNESCO.

This event promote awareness of linguistic and cultural diversity. Today the entire AKMIS fraternity commemorated the sacrifices of Bangladeshi martyrs who fearlessly fought to make Bangla as the national language of the country. Honorable Director Mr. Mahbubur Rahman Molla addressed the gathering with great zeal and fervor .He shared his words of wisdom with the entire AKMIS fraternity.

We celebrated the day with story telling,national anthem recitation and poem recitation of various languages and countries. The participation and presence of parent was praiseworthy.

The day started with Probhat Feri ,followed by flower offering ceremony at Shahid Minar. Head of School -Mr. Aabid Hussain Khan enlightened the AKMIS community about the significance of this day in his welcome address.

The day ended with a feeling of gratitude with Head of Primary- Ms. Asnaha Farheen’s vote of thanks where she expressed her gratitude towards the AKMIS community.
