About Special Educational Needs (SEN)

Abdul Kadir Molla International School (AKMIS) believes in inclusive education with acceptance of students from every sphere of the society irrespective of their origin, physical or psychosocial difficulty and works towards helping them integrate in a more efficient manner in the classroom activities, school programmes, family and overall, within the society as well.

Our Special Education Need (SEN) service is trying to ensure the students who are faced with different types of impairment or difficulties like learning issues, behavioral issues, emotional aspects etc. Identifying the core issues, diagnosis, implementing strategies inside the classroom, within their home with the help of the caregiver, HRT and special instructors are the day-to-day activities of the SEN team. We ensure no learners are left behind because of their different functioning by making sure that they are taken care of separately or counselled regularly if needed.

We firmly believe every child has their potential or special ability irrespective of their apparent difficulties they may face inside or outside of the school.
