Pahela Falgun

Pahela Falgun – the first day of spring of the Bengali month Falgun was celebrated with great fervor at Abdul Kadir Molla International School. Learners came in yellow and orange floral dresses and welcomed the king of all the six seasons that brings back warm brightness, budding flowers and dancing of birds.

Head of Primary – Ms .Asnaha Farheen wished the entire community “Shubha Falgun” followed by a Mindfulness session where learners and teachers hugged and pampered themselves by self -appreciating themselves. They even shared one word of appreciation with the person standing next to them to make them blissful.

Head of School Mr. Aabid Hussain Khan appreciated the life long learners of grade kG 1 as they connected today’s event with their unit of inquiry which is based on “natural cycles”.
