Middle School Program

AKMIS Mid School Program (MSP)
AKMIS Mid School Program (MSP) is designed to help the learners to thrive their inquisitiveness. This is the platform where they get the opportunities to justify their prior knowledge, to explore more about numeracy, to go beyond lingual horizon and to advance well in the digital world. AKMIS’ Mid School Program harmonizes a reputed British curriculum- Cambridge Lower Secondary with national curriculum. In this stage, students learn a number of foreign languages (English, French and Arabic) along with their mother tongue to express themselves more intelligently and clearly; accumulate knowledge to use Algebra in practical situations; build up confidence to analyze and synthesize geometry induced problems; decode and interpret a comprehensive idea from a collection of data. Just to make learning happen in a more holistic manner, our students must opt for Bangladesh Studies, Digital Literacy (DL), World History and World Geography. These supplement courses expand their horizons, broaden their vision, enhance their critical thinking skills and make them fit for Cambridge IGCSE.
The entire MSP is divided into two terms- Term 1 and Term 2 and in each term there are 2 quarters. At the end of each term, we conduct a post-term exam. The entire assessment system may be categorized into three events- big event like Post-Terms (2 Examinations), medium event like Mid-Terms (2 Examinations) and small event like Monthly Tests (10 Tests) and Class Tests (1/2 per month). Moreover, to facilitate the need-based students, our dedicated teachers prepare differentiated worksheets and conduct support classes. To scrutinize our teaching strategy, we use certain tools like differential worksheets, learner’s reflection and feedback, capacity matrix, question grid etc.
